Fashion Show
Last year marked the first annual charity fashion show organized by the Business Students Society. The event featured 20 student models and 10 student volunteers, who worked together to present an entertaining evening for hundreds of guests at the Casino Regina Show Lounge. The fashion show displayed great clothing from 11 Regina stores, and was still enjoyable for those who were not fashion-oriented; the comedic styling of our fantastic MC’s made it so that there was something for everyone to appreciate.
The best part of the event, however, was the charities with which we worked.
Miracles on the Runway raised nearly $1,500 for TeleMiracle through ticket sales and a silent auction, and it collected a great deal of clothing for underprivileged women in partnership with Dress for Success Regina. This year’s event will inevitably build upon the successes of the 2007/08 year!
This Year marks a whole new Image for our Fashion show. Black and White Fashion Night will take place at the Mackenzie Art Gallery on Feb 25th. Join us for this Black and White themed night for cocktails, music, and most importantly the clothing and fashion of local stores and retailers.
